Conky est un système de monitoring donnant des infos diverses sur le bureau.

Fichier de configuration : .conkyrc

Il se trouve dans :

• /etc/conky et se nomme conky.conf et conky_no_x11.conf
• à la racine du home et se nomme .conkyrc (on peut modifier le nom par défaut).

Il se compose de 2 parties séparées par une ligne vierge

• Partie configuration : conky.config = { …………… };
• Partie affichage : conky.text = [[ ……….. ]]

Le fichier de configuration utilise la syntaxe de lua.

• Start the settings with conky.config = { and end them with };.
  • Each setting begins with its name, followed by a =, followed by the argument(s).
  • Each setting’s argument(s) must be enclosed in single or double quotes (unless the argument is a boolean or a number).
  • Settings without arguments can have "yes" or "no" as arguments (alternatively, you can use true or false).
  • Settings should be separated by a comma. The last setting should not have a comma at the end, although the syntax is forgiving.
  • Templates now use the [[ ]] brackets.
